Two hundred and twenty-eight years ago, the Continental Congress made history when they united and signed the Declaration of Independence. The time of year has come again to celebrate our great country’s Independence! On the 4th of July, you will find an abundance of functions in the Dallas Fort Worth area that you and your family are sure to enjoy!
Grab your stars, stripes, red, white and blue, and make your way out to one of the weekend’s many events! Each offers a different form of fun, so you will be sure to find something that interests you. Take a look at a couple of options:
- Flagpole 8K Race: July 4th at 7:30 A.M. Honor the 4th of July holiday by racing around White Rock Lake! The race is open to all ages, and starts at 200 N. Buckner Blvd. on the southeast corner of Northwest Highway.
- Fort Worth’s 4th: July 4th at 2:00 P.M. Gather around for music, kayaking, mini golf, and much more. Don’t forget about the fireworks show that will begin at 9:30 P.M.! The party takes place at the Panther Island Pavilion in Trinity Uptown, and is free for all!
